About Zohar
Blending body and theatre, Zohar twists the stage with acts that provoke, seduce, and surprise.
Zohar is a passionate, multidisciplinary performer known for her bold fusion of contortion, clowning, and storytelling. Originally from Spain and currently based in Zürich (Switzerland), she brings a global flair to her work — both technically precise and emotionally charged.
Her performances range from elegant, controlled contortion pieces to wild, genre-bending acts that mix burlesque, heels, physical theatre, and comedy. No two acts are the same — but all are crafted to captivate, confront, and linger in the memory. Whether she’s playing the devilish gentleman in Shag Tobacco or the whip-smart trickster in The Lion Tamer goes Nootzel act, Zohar invites audiences into worlds where nothing is quite what it seems.

She has performed with circuses, theatre companies, and burlesque productions around the world, including Ohh! Lala! Cherie! (Zürich), Hubba Hubba Revue (San Francisco), and Sinferno Cabaret (Portland).
Zohar also creates bespoke acts tailored to fit the tone, theme, or story of any event — ensuring an unforgettable, one-of-a-kind experience for any audience.
When she’s not performing, she pours her energy into Zohar.Yoga.Flex, her online platform for yoga classes and flexibility coaching. She also hosts painting events and does commissioned artwork, goes live on her YouTube channel, and spends time with her family.

Zohar’s performances are built on a foundation of extreme front-bending flexibility, woven with acting, clowning, and dance to stir emotions, tease the audience, and tell stories that are as unpredictable as they are unforgettable. Her acts often include physical theatre through clowning, adding absurdity, chaos, and surprise into her seductive stage world.
She draws inspiration and structure from diverse dance forms such as Burly Q, Frame Up Strip, Floorwork, Heels, and Cabaret Jazz, combining them into unique theatrical creations. The result? Visceral, physical storytelling — sometimes funny, sometimes unnerving, always unforgettable.

Zohar is deeply committed to her craft. In 2024, she completed an intensive Clown course at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, an intensive Mongolian Contortion training with Serchmaa Byamba in San Francisco, and Burlesque 101 with Eva D’Luscious. Her curiosity and dedication continue to push her into new territory — always evolving, always performing with purpose.
